What we store

A fingerprint, not your email.

  • Your message content never lands in our database. We store a one-way SHA-256 hash: a fingerprint that can confirm a match but can't be reversed back into the email.
  • Sign-in runs through your own Microsoft 365 tenant over Azure AD. Nootro acts on your behalf, never around you.
  • Recipients verify against the fingerprint alone. The verification page reveals authenticity, never the contents.
For recipients

Anyone can check. No account needed.

Every Nootro share carries a link to verify.nootro.ai. Recipients click it and get a plain answer: is this authentic, and was anything changed. No sign-up, no software, no peek at content they shouldn't see.
